Interactive Crayola exhibit opens at Camp North End in May

IDEAworks, an immersive exhibit by Crayola will soon transform Camp North End’s Ford Building into a color-filled creative scape.

What’s happening: Charlotte will be the second stop for the worldwide traveling tour, following its inaugural run at The Franklin Institute in Pennsylvania.

What to expect: The 17,000 square-foot exhibit space will have two main areas.

  • The IDEA Workshop where visitors can pitch product ideas and come up with creative solutions.

  • The Colorverse where guests can do anything from co-host a broadcast from Mars to create a digital piece of clothing.

The experience will also use RFID wristbands to create a customized summary of guests’ interactions throughout the exhibit.
